ANNOUNCEMENT
OF THE PRIZE 2024
The Dieter W. Baeuerle Foundation is announcing the
“Dieter W. Baeuerle
Prize 2024 for Fundamentals and Applications of Laser-Matter-Interaction”.
The prize will
be awarded to young scientists up to ten years after completion of their
doctoral dissertation or PhD study. Scientific research dealing with the
fundamentals and applications of Laser-Matter Interaction in Physics, Chemistry,
Life Science, Medicine and Art shall be awarded. The prize money is 3,000.00
Euro.

Personal
applications are eligible. Two letters of recommendation shall be submitted
independently and in time. The closing date for applications is 31st
of May 2024.
The prizewinners
will be selected by the advisory board and the presidium of the foundation. The
decision is final.
The award
ceremony will be part of a festive event at the Johannes Kepler University Linz
in September/October 2024.
